Persuasion Lectures

“Debate” is a competitive international format in which a proposal or

subject is raised, and participants are divided into two groups, supporters and objectors, and hold a discussion on the proposed theme. 

In order to challenge the speakers and to train them on how to keep track of time, each of them is given a limited time frame for their speech.

The method of “Debate” provides one with the tools to convince his/her audience and develop a pragmatic line of thought, as a result of the need to support the presented stance, or to counter it. The improvement graph for new speakers in the world of “debate” is very high, and it is usually accomplished in a relatively short time. In some cases, only a little practice is required.
